HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-015-01/17/1984-AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LARIMER COUNTY FOR THE PROVI RESOLUTION 84- 15 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH LARIMER COUNTY FOR THE PROVISION OF MUTUAL AID WHEREAS, it is desirable that the City and the County should aid and assist each other by the exchange of services and facilities, including but not limited to fire, police, medical and health, communication, and trans- portation services and facilities, to cope with the problems of warning, evacuation, rescue, relief, rehabilitation and construction which would arise in the event of a natural or manmade disaster; and WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that an appropriate agreement be executed for the exchange of such mutual aid; and WHEREAS, Sections 29-1-203 and 28-2-113, C.R.S. authorize the parties to enter into an intergovernmental agreement for furnishing mutual aid coping with disasters. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the Mayor is authorized to enter into a mutual aid agreement between the City of Fort Collins and Larimer County. Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this 17th day of January, 1984. May ATTEST a City Clerk
