OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO A LEASE
AGREEMENT FOR THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN
AS THE POLICE ANNEX
WHEREAS, in the past, the City has entered into a Lease Agreement for
that certain property located on the northeast corner of Howes and Laporte
Avenue at 228-230 Laporte Avenue, said property being presently utilized as
the Police Annex Building; and
WHEREAS, in the considered opinion of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins, it is probable that the City will continue to have need for this
property for a period of at least several years; and
WHEREAS, the City has negotiated a satisfactory agreement with the
owners of this property which will permit the City to continue to utilize
this property through February 28, 1985, and with options to utilize said
property until February 28, 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That the above described Lease Agreement be, and it hereby
is, approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of Fort Collins.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 17th day of J uary, A. D. 1984.
