FOR DESIGN SERV RESOLUTION 84-12 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ARCHITECTURE PLUS, P.C. FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE RENOVATION OF CITY HALL EAST PHASE II WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City to renovate City Hall East; and WHEREAS, on January 17, 1984, the Council passed Ordinance No. 8 and 9, 1984, appropriating Seven Hundred and Seven Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($707 ,300) for the purpose of renovating City Hall East; and WHEREAS, said appropriation included the design fee associated with the project; and WHEREAS, it is necessary that the City proceed immediately with said renovation to correct certain electrical problems that cause the building to not meet current Code provisions; and WHEREAS, under the direction of City Council , City staff has nego- tiated an agreement with Architec ture cture Plus, P.C. for design services for the purpose of conducting the renovation of City Hall East Phase II, said services at a fixed fee of Fifty-Six Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($56,200) ; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-66 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins, no professional services agreement in excess of $20,000 shall be entered into until approved by the City Council in an open Council meeting. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter into a professional services agreement with Architecture Plus, P.C. for design services for the renovation of City Hall East Phase II, said ser- vices to be performed by Architecture Plus, P.C. for a fixed fee of Fifty-Six Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($56,200) .
