HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-039-04/19/2005-FURTHER EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE AD HOC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS COMMITTEE RESOLUTION 2005-039 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS FURTHER EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE AD HOC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS COMMITTEE WHEREAS, on December 16, 2003, the City Council adopted Resolution 2003-147, establishing an Ad Hoc Compensation and Benefits Committee (the "Committee"), consisting of Councilmembers Kurt Kastein and Eric Hamrick, to participate in the process of selecting a consultant to review and make recommendations to the City Council regarding employee compensation and benefits; and WHEREAS, the terms and duties of the Committee have since been expanded by the Council, and the Committee has formulated certain recommendations regarding employee compensation and benefits that have not yet been submitted to the Council; and WHEREAS,the Council believes it to be in the best interests of the City to again extend the term of the Committde through June 30, 2005, so that the City Manager can present the report and recommendations of the Committee to the Council, and so that the Council can determine whether there is any additional need for the Committee's services. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the Committee shall remain in existence through June 30, 2005, or until such later date as the Council may then determine.
