HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989-131-07/18/1989-AMENDING RESOLUTION 89-85 AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT, AS A CASE NOT R RESOLUTION 89-131 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING RESOLUTION 89-85 AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT, AS A CASE NOT REQUIRING BIDDING, WITH MOORE GOVERNMENTAL SYSTEMS, INC. FOR SOFTWARE AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR FINANCIAL SYSTEMS SOFTWARE WHEREAS, Resolution 89-85 specified that the negotiated price of the Moore financial systems and payroll/personnel modules was not expected to exceed Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000) ; and WHEREAS, further discussion and negotiation has determined that the amount of Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000) will be insufficient; and WHEREAS, staff's current evaluation is that the price of the Moore System is not expected to exceed Four Hundred and Twenty-two Thousand Dollars ($422,000) ; and WHEREAS, the combined cost of support hardware and Moore System software is being obtained through lease/purchase funding in the amount of Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($700,000) finally approved by Ordinance No. 76, 1989 on May 2, 1989. WHEREAS, the computer hardware acquired to support the Moore System will cost only Two Hundred Seventy-eight Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars ($278,328) . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that Resolution 89-85, authorizing the Purchasing Agent to enter into a contract, as a case not requiring bidding, with Moore Governmental Systems, Inc. for software and professional services for financial systems software, be amended to authorize a sum not to exceed Four Hundred Twenty-two Thousand Dollars ($422,000) for software and professional services.
