OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN ADDENDUM
TO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE UNION PACIFIC LAND
RESOURCES CORPORATION TO ALLOW THE OPERATION AND
MAINTENANCE OF WATER AND SEWER PIPELINES
WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation ("UPLRC") has
tendered to the City of Fort Collins an Addendum to the Agreement dated
November 23, 1976, identified in the records of UPLRC as UIC Law Department
Document No. 1-2336, Audit No. 21333, providing license for the operation
of water pipelines and a sanitary sewer pipeline, with manholes, located in
the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of
Fort Collins that the Addendum to Agreement be executed to allow the City
to operate and maintain said water pipelines and sanitary sewer pipeline
without interruption; and
WHEREAS, the licensing fee of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars (E250. )
per year is budgeted and available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute an
Addendum to Agreement with the Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation for
the license to operate and maintain water pipelines and a sanitary sewer
pipeline on lands owned by the UPLRC located in the City of Fort Collins.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
16th day of September, A.D. 1986.
