OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPOINTING THE MEMBERS OF A CITIZEN BUDGET ADVISORY COMMITTEE
WHEREAS,by the adoption of Resolution 2004-005,the City Council established a citizen Budget
Advisory Committee (the "Committee") to assist the City Council in considering the City Manager's
recommended budget for 2005; and
WHEREAS, the Committee is to consist of seven members, with each member of the Council
selecting one member of the Committee from a pool of names suggested by City Councilmembers and the
City Manager; and
WHEREAS, City Councilmembers and the City Manager have submitted a pool of such names
to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the term of the initial members of the Committee is to be for a period of one year,
with the Council to thereafter reevaluate the Committee and determine whether or not it will continue and,
if so, identify any modifications as to the Committee's purpose, structure, membership and term; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to appoint the initial members of the Committee from the pool
of names submitted by Councilmembers and the City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the following persons are hereby appointed to serve as the initial members of the Budget
Advisory Committee for a period of one year from the date of this Resolution,or for such shorter or longer
period of time as may subsequently be determined by the City Council by resolution:
Alan Apt
Arvid Bloom
Gino Campana
Glen Colton
Kelly Ohlson
Monte Peterson
Kevin Shaw
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 17th day of February, A.D.
