OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING A ONE-YEAR LEASE OF
CITY-OWNED PROPERTY AT 945 EAST PROSPECT ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is the owner of the property at 945 East Prospect Road,
Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colorado; and
WHEREAS, the City purchased (his property for a capital project to be constructed at a later
date and the house on the property is currently vacant; and
WHEREAS, under Section 23-1 l4 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins, the Council is
authorized to lease any and all interests in real property owned in the name of the City, provided that
Council first finds that the lease is in the best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. Leasing the subject property is in the best interests of the City of Fort Collins.
Section 2. That the City Manager be authorized to enter into a new Lease Agreement for a
term of one(1) year for the house and lot at 945 East Prospect Road, at a monthly rental rate of no
less than Six Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($625) per month.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 1 st day of August,A.D.
