OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ADOPTING THE 1990-91 BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS MANUAL
WHEREAS, the City currently has several boards and commissions
appointed by the City Council ; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk's Office annually prepares a manual for
members of boards and commissions which includes membership lists,
descriptions of each board and commission, meeting schedules, conflict of
interest guidelines, appeal procedures, and general information regarding
membership limitations, attendance policies, and other responsibilities;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to adopt said manual in order to
formalize the guidelines and policies contained within the manual .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1 . That the 1990-91 Boards and Commissions Manual be, and
hereby is, adopted.
Section 2. That the City Clerk's Office is authorized to make such
administrative revisions to the Manual as may be necessary to keep the same
current, including, without limitation, changes in the introductory letter,
membership lists, meeting times and places, and such other changes as may
be consistent with related resolutions and ordinances which are, from time
to time, adopted by the Council . Such revisions may be made without
express approval of the City Council , except as provided in Section 3
below.
Section 3. That amendments to the Manual which constitute policy
changes shall be made only by the Council by Resolution.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 17th day of July, A.D. 1990.
