OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
RBD ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS FOR
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING OF THE
TIMBERLINE AND MINOR ROAD WATERLINES
WHEREAS, in March of 1988, the City issued a request for proposals for
the design and construction services for the Timberline and Minor Road
waterlines in the southeastern section of the city; and
WHEREAS, the selection committee interviewed three of the twenty-four
firms submitting proposals and selected RBD Engineering Consultants as the
most qualified firm; and
WHEREAS, total cost for the design, bidding, and construction services
for the projects are not to exceed One Hundred Three Thousand Three Hundred
Ninety-five Dollars ($103,395) ; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8-120 of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins, no professional services agreement in excess of Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($20,000) shall be entered into until approved by the City Council
in an open Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, monies for the project are budgeted and available in the
Water Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a professional services agreement with RBD Engineering Consultants for
the design and construction services for the Timberline and Minor Road
waterlines at a cost not to exceed One Hundred Three Thousand Three Hundred
Ninety-five Dollars ($103,395) .
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
7th day of June, A.D. 1988.
