OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING RESOLUTION 91-85 CONCERNING THE
1991-92 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 91-85, the Council of the City of Fort
Collins authorized the submission to the Department of Housing and Urban
Development of the 1991-92 Community Development Block Grant application; and
WHEREAS, said application included, as a part thereof, funding in the sum
of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) for the United Day Care for the
purpose of acquisition of the Larimer Community Services, Inc. Building; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that title to the property to be acquired
should be taken by the Fort Collins Area United Way rather than the United Day
Care; and
WHEREAS, on March 9, 1992, the United Day Care transferred all of its right
and interest in the grant of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) to the
Fort Collins Area United Way; and
WHEREAS, the Council , by this Resolution, desires to amend Resolution 91-85
to authorize the delivery of CDBG grant funds in the amount of One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) for the purpose of acquisition of the Larimer
Community Services, Inc. Building to Fort Collins Area United Way in lieu of the
United Day Care.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that Resolution 91-85 of the Council of the City of Fort Collins is hereby
amended to authorize the City Manager to, upon fulfillment of all other
conditions imposed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, deliver
CDBG grant funds in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) to
the Fort Collins Area United Way in lieu of the United Day Care for the purpose
of acquisition of the Larimer Community Services, Inc. Building.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins held this 2nd day of June, A.D. 1992.
