OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
STATING THE INTENT OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY AND INITIATING
ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS FOR SUCH PROPERTY TO BE KNOWN AS
THE LINCOLN-LEMAY AVENUE ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described has, for a period of not less than three (3)
years prior to this date,been completely contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins;
and
WHEREAS,the Council desires to initiate annexation proceedings in accordance with State
law.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That,the Council of the City of Fort Collins intends to annex the following
described property, to be known as the Lincoln-Lemay Avenue Annexation, situate in the County
of Larimer, State of Colorado, to wit:
A TRACT OF LAND SITUATE IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 12,TOWNSHIP 7 NORTH,
RANGE 69 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., COUNTY OF LARIMER, STATE OF COLORADO, WHICH
CONSIDERING THE NORTH LINE OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 12 AS BEARING
N89°42'32"W AND WITH ALL BEARINGS CONTAINED HEREIN RELATIVE THERETO IS CONTAINED
WITHIN THE BOUNDARY LINES WHICH BEGIN AT A POINT WHICH BEARS N89°4213211W 30.01 FEET
FROM THE E 1/4 CORNER OF SAID SECTION 12,SAID POINT BEING THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING
AND A POINT ON THE NORTHEAST CONSOLIDATED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS,THENCE ALONG SAID ANNEXATION N89'42'32"W 51.87 FEET TO A POINT ON THE LINK-
N-GREENS THIRD ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS. THENCE ALONG SAID
ANNEXATION S10°30'56"W 351.29 FEET, THENCE S71°37'43"E 198.01,THENCE N87°47'01"E 138.68
FEET TO A POINT ON THE LEMAY AVENUE SECOND ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS,THENCE ALONG THE SAID ANNEXATION N24,09'51"W 333.38 FEET,THENCE ALONG THE
ARC OF A 930.93 FOOT RADIUS CURVE TO THE LEFT, A DISTANCE OF 66.02 FEET, THE LONG
CHORD OF WHICH BEARS N28°54'01"W 66.01 FEET , THENCE N89.42'32" W 43.57 FEET,THENCE
NO2°0213911E 40.02 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
CONTAINING 1.7848 ACRES.
Section 2. That the Council hereby initiates annexation proceedings for the above-
described property.
Section 3. That the Notice attached hereto be adopted as part of this Resolution. Said
Notice establishes the date, time and place when the Council will consider the passage of an
annexation ordinance pertaining to the above described property. The City Clerk is directed to
publish a copy of this Resolution and said Notice as provided in Section 31-12-108(2), C.R.S.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this
20th day of January, A.D. 1998.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Fort Collins has adopted a
Resolution initiating annexation proceedings for the Lincoln-Lemay Avenue Annexation, said
Annexation being more particularly described in said Resolution, a copy of which precedes this
Notice.
That, on March 3, at the hour of 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may come on
for hearing in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, 300 LaPorte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado,
the Fort Collins City Council will consider the passage of an annexation ordinance concerning the
subject property.
The City of Fort Collins will make reasonable accommodations for access to City services,
programs and activities and will make special communication arrangements for persons with
