OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING AN AMENDMENT TO THE BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS MANUAL
WHEREAS,the City currently has several boards and commissions appointed by the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, information pertaining to the duties, composition,membership limitations, and
responsibilities of the City's boards and commissions is contained in a Boards and Commissions
Manual (the "Manual"), maintained by the City Clerk, which Manual was adopted by the City
Council by Resolution 90-110; and
WHEREAS,the voters of the City of Fort Collins approved Charter Amendment No. 3 at the
April 8, 1997 Regular Municipal Election, which Amendment modified Article IV, Section 9 of the
City Charter relating to conflicts of interest; and
WHEREAS,the Council wishes to amend the conflict of interest provisions contained in the
Manual.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the 1997-98 Boards and Commissions Manual of the City of Fort Collins is hereby
amended to update the"Conflict of Interest" section to conform to the amendments to Article IV,
Section 9 of the City Charter which were approved by the voters at the April 8, 1997 Regular
Municipal Election.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this
19th day of August, A.D. 1997.
