OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO BOB MCCLUSKEY
FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY
AS A COUNCILMEMBER
WHEREAS, Bob McCluskey was elected in 1993 for a four-year term as
Councilmember for District 3 and served in that capacity until 1997; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, Mr. McCluskey served on numerous Council
committees, including the Ad Hoc Council Liaison Committee, the Ethics Review Board,
the Finance Committee, the Governance Committee, the Growth Management Committee,
the Legislative Review Committee, the North Front Range Transportation/Air Quality
Council as an alternate, the Poudre Fire Authority Board of Directors, and the Water
Planning Committee; and
WHEREAS, Mr. McCluskey also represented the City on various intergovernmental
committees and tasks forces, including the Growth Management and Land Use Working
Group, the Larimer County Fair Board; and
WHEREAS, Mr. McCluskey also served as a liaison to numerous Boards and
Commissions and in countless other assignments during his tenure as Councilmember;
and
WHEREAS, this period of time has seen great growth and change in the City, and
Mr. McCluskey was called upon to devote substantial time and energy to the affairs of the
City of Fort Collins in his role of Councilmember.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that the City expresses its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Bob
McCluskey for his outstanding service and contributions to the community as a
Councilmember.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 15th day of
April, A.D. 1997.
