OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
NOMINATING RON PHILLIPS AS A CANDIDATE
TO THE EXECUTIVE BOARD OF THE COLORADO MUNICIPAL LEAGUE
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins is a member-city of the Colorado Municipal League;
and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to nominate a candidate for the upcoming election to the
Executive Board of the Colorado Municipal League; and
WHEREAS,Ron Phillips has served very ably on the Colorado Municipal League Executive
Board for the past four years representing municipalities over 65,000 population; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that Ron Phillips will serve as the next President of the
Colorado Municipal League Executive Board; and
WHEREAS,the Council of the City believes that Ron Phillips would again be an excellent
candidate for the Executive Board of the Colorado Municipal League.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Council formally nominates Ron Phillips as a candidate for re-election to
the Executive Board of the Colorado Municipal League.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this
18th day of April, A.D. 2000.
