OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPOINTING DRU VAN DOREN TO THE WOMEN'S COMMISSION
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Women's Commission due to a vacant
position that remained after the 2015 Board and Commission recruitment process, and
WHEREAS, Councilmembers interviewed applicants for annual appointments to the
Boards and Commissions in December 2015 and January 2016; and
WHEREAS, from the pool of applicants for these Boards, Dru Van Doren has been
selected to fill the vacancy on the Women's Commission; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this Resolution is to fill the current vacant position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby makes and adopts the determinations and
findings contained in the recitals set forth above.
Section 2. That Dru Van Doren is hereby appointed to fill the vacant position on the
Women's Commission, with a term to commence immediately and to expire on December 31,
2019.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins this
16th day of February, A.D. 2016.
