HomeMy WebLinkAbout2014-099-11/04/2014-APPROVING THE POSITION PROFILE FOR THE CITY ATTORNEY SEARCH PROCESS RESOLUTION 2014-099 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROVING THE POSITION PROFILE FOR THE CITY ATTORNEY SEARCH PROCESS WHEREAS, on August 19, 2014, City Council adopted Resolution 2014-076 adopting a plan and target schedule for the recruitment and selection of the City Attorney; and WHEREAS, an important step in that process is the development of a position profile to be used to promote the position to potential candidates and to assist the recruiter in narrowing the pool of applicants to those most qualified for the City Attorney position; and WHEREAS, the Council Committee and the recruiter have created, with the assistance of key stakeholders, a proposed position profile; and WHEREAS, the proposed position profile is attached as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference, for the City Council's review and approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the position profile attached as Exhibit "A" is hereby approved by the City Council for use in the City Attorney position recruitment and selection process.
