OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO
VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Affordable Housing Board due to the
resignation of Christina Thronson; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Air Quality Advisory Board that was not filled
during the annual appointment process in 2010; and
WHEREAS,a vacancy currently exists on the Commission on Disability due to the resignation
of Mare Franklin-Gaumer; and
WHEREAS,a vacancy currently exists on the Land Conservation and Stewardship Board due
to the resignation of Paul Mills; and
WHEREAS,Ordinance 002,2011,adopted on Second Reading on February 1,2011,increased
the membership on the Landmark Preservation Commission by two members and those two new
positions need to be filled; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Senior Advisory Board due to the resignation
of Cathy Martin; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make appointments to fill the vacancies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the following named persons are hereby appointed to fill current vacancies on the
boards and commissions hereinafter indicated,with terms to begin immediately and to expire as set
forth after each name:
Affordable Housing Board Expiration of Term
Wayne Thompson December 31, 2011
Air Quality Advisory Board Expiration of Term
Scott Groen December 31, 2014
Commission on Disability Expiration of Term
Michelle Patello December 31, 2014
Land Conservation and Stewardship Board Expiration of Term
John Willis Mitchell December 31, 2014
Landmark Preservation Commission Expiration of Term
Jerome Johnson December 31, 2012
Laura Hax December 31, 2013
Senior Advisory Board Expiration of Term
Diane Smith December 31, 2013
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins this 19th day
of April A.D. 2011.
