OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING
THE CITY S PARTICIPATION IN THE HEARINGS INVOLVING THE
REQUEST BEFORE THE COLORADO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION
OF MOUNTAIN BELL FOR AN INCREASE IN TELEPHONE RATES AND
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF THE SUM OF $1 083 43 AS THE
CITY S COST FOR PARTICIPATING IN SUCH HEARING
WHEREAS Mountain Bell has applied to the Public Utilities Com
mission of the State of Colorado for authority to increase telephone rates
in the State and
WHEREAS in the opinion of the City Council this is a matter of
concern to the City of Fort Collins and the residents thereof and
WHEREAS arrangements have been made whereby municipalities in the
State of Colorado may participate in such hearings and
WHEREAS the cost to the City of Fort Collins to participate in
such hearings will be $1 083 43
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City of Fort Collins shall participate in the Public Utility
Commission Hearings on the application of Mountain Bell for an increase in
telephone rates and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the payment of the sum of $1 083 43 as
the share of the City of Fort Collins for participation in said hearings be
and the same hereby is authorized and directed
