HomeMy WebLinkAbout1972-028-03/16/1972-GIVING PUBLIC NOTICE CONCERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY RESOLUTION 72-28 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS GIVING PUBLIC NOTICE CONCERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AND AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS COLORADO 1958 AS AMENDED CONNONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE WHEREAS a written petition has been presented to the City Council requesting that the zoning classification for the property more particularly described in the ' Notice of Public Hearing" attached hereto be changed from R L Low Density Residential District to R-H High Density Residential District and WHEREAS the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study of said rezoning request and has held a hearing and made a report and recommendation thereon all in accordance with the provisions of Section 19 46 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended and WHEREAS the City Council desires to hold a public hearing on said rezoning request as required by Section 19-46 1 (5) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that April 6 1972 at 1 30 P M or as soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing in the Council Chambers in the City Fall of the City of Fort Collins is hereby set as `he time and place for a public hearing on said rezoning request and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish a notice of said hearing as provided in Section 19 46 1 (5) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended in the form attached hereto --- -- — Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 16th day of March 1972 - a ATTEST City Clerk c NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN A public hearing will be held on April 6 1972 , at 1 30 P M in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Fort Collins, Colorado, on a petition for a change of zoning from R L Low Density Residential District, to R H High Density Residential District, for the following property A tract of land situate in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 13 Township 7 North Range 69 West of the 6th P M City of Fort Collins County of Larimer State of Colorado which considering the East line of said Southeast 1/4 as bearing S 00 18' 30 W and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto is contained within the boundary lines which begin at a point which bears \ 89 38' W 320 00 feet and again S 00 18' 30 ' W 300 00 feet and again N 89 38' W 409 86 feet and again S 00 22' W 166 73 feet from the Northeast corner of said Southeast 1/4 and run thence N 69 57' 30" W 116 96 feet to a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of Morgan Street thence along said Easterly right-of-way line on an arc of a 494 24 foot radius curve to the right a distance of 99 37 feet the long chord of which curve bears S 07 24' W 99 20 feet thence along the arc of a 15-foot radius curve to the left a distance of 21 77 feet the long chord of which curve bears S 28 23' 57" E 19 91 feet to a point on the Northerly right of way line of Garfield Street thence S 69 57' 30 ' E 331 95 feet a c ig said 'Northerly right of way line thence continuing on said right of way line along the arc of -1 860 00 foot radius curve to the left a distance of 12 50 feet the long ( fiord of which curve bears S 70 22' 30" E 12 50 feet thence leaving, said right of way line run N 19 12' 30 E 110 00 feet thence N 70 22' 30 W 10 89 feet thence N 69 57' 30" W 251 61 feet to the point of beginning City Clerk (Note This notice must be published once at least fifteen (15) days before the date set for hearing )
