CONCERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANU E AMENDING CIIAPTFR 19 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO,
1958, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE,
IN ORDER TO CLASSIFY FOR ZONING PURPOSES CERTAIN PROPERTY
BEING ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
initiated annexation procedures for certain property known as the South Mesa
First Annexation to the City of Fort Collins more particularly
described in the 'Notice of Public Hearing" attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the/ owners of said property have petitioned that said
property be included in the H-B, Highway Business District
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study of said
zoning request and has held a hearing and has made a report and recommendation
thereon, all in accordance iith Section 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended, and
WHFREAS, the City Council desires to hold a hearing on said zoning
request as required by said Section 19-46
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RFSOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that December 14, 1972 at 1 30 P M , or as soon thereafter as the matter
may come on for hearing, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of
Fort Collins, is hereby set as the time and place for a public hearing on said
zoning request, ind

TO WHOA IT MAY CONCERN
Notice is hereby given that on December 14, 1972 , at 1 30 P M , or as soon there-
after as the matter May come on for hearing, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the
City of Fort Collins, the City Council will hold a public hearing on a petition heretofore
filed requesting that the property comprising the South Mesa First
Annexation be placed in a H-B, Highway Business District under the zoning
ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
The property comprising said annexation is more particularly described as situate in
the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit
The South 26 00 feet of Lots 2 and 7, and all of Lots 3, 4, 5, 8,
9, and 10 and the frontage road lying adjacent to said Lots 2, 3, 4,
and 5 of South Alesa Subdivision which are all more particularly des-
cribed as follows Considering the East line of Section 26, Township
7 North, Range 69 Nest of the 6th P M , as bearing N 000 19' E and
with all bearings contained herein relative thereto is contained within
the boundary lines which begin at a point on the West right of way
line of U S High,vay #287 which bears N 000 19' E 1094 66 feet, and
again N 89' 54' W 45 84 feet from the Southeast corner of said
Section 26, and run thence S 000 05' E 350 00 feet along said West
right-of-way line, thence N 89° 54' W 430 05 ieet thence along the
arc of a 15 00 foot radius curve to the right a distance of 23 51 feet,
the long chord of rhich bears N 440 59' 30" W 21 1& feet, thence N
00° 05' W 335 05 feet thence S 8$0 54' E 445 00 feet to the point
of beginn,nr, containing 3 5744 acres, more or less
