RESOLUTION 72-130
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS GIVING NOTICE
CONCERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO,
1958, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY MOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE,
IN ORDER TO CLASSIFY FOR ZONING PURPOSES CERTAIN PROPERTY
BEING ANNEX TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
initiated annexation procedures for certain property known as the South
Mesa Second Annexation to the City of Fort Collins more particularly described
in the "Notice of Public Hearing" attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study concerning
the proper zoning for said land and has held a hearing and considered the
request it has received regarding such zoning, and has made a report and
recommendation thereon all in accordance with the Ordinances of the City
of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to hold a hearing on an ordinance
zoning said lands
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that on the llth day of January, 1973 at 1 30 P M , or as
soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing, in the Council Chambers
of the City Hall of the City of Fort Collins, is hereby set as the time
and place for a public hearing on an Ordinance zoning said lands, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed
to publish a notice of said hearing as provided in Section 19-46 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended,
in the form attached hereto
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this 21st day of December, 1972

NOTICE OF PUBLIC !-TEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Notice is hereby given that on the llth day of January, 1973,
at 1 30 o'clock P M , or as soon thereafter as the matter may come on for
hearing, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Fort Collins,
the City Council will hold a public hearing on an Ordinance zoning the
lands comprising the South Mesa Second Annexation Said lands are proposed
to be placed in the HB, Highway Business District
The lands comprising said Annexation are more particularly des-
cribed as situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit
Lots 20, 21 and the Westerly 120 feet of Lot 22 in the South
Mesa Subdivision and the North z of Horsetooth Road lying south
of Lots 20 and 21, all being more particularly described as follows
Begin at a point on the South line of the Southeast ; of Section
26, Townshi 7 North, Range 69 West of the Sixth P M , which
bears N 89954' W 643 02 feet from the Southeast corner of said
Section 26, and rim thence N 00005' W 230 00 feet, thence N
89054' W 76 13 feet, thence N 00054' E 106 01 feet, thence
S 89055' W 120 00 feet, thence S 00054' W 335 66 feet to
the South line of the Southeast 4 of said Section 26, thence
along said South line, S 89054' E 200 11 feet to the point
of beginning, containing 1 3375 acres, more or less
