OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS GIVING NOTICE CON-
CERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS COLORADO 1958 AS
AMENDED COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE IN ORDER TO
CLASSIFY FOR ZONING PURPOSES CERTAIN PROPERTY BEING ANNEXED
TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS heretofore the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
initiated annexation procedures for certain property known as the Edora Acres
Annexationto the City of Fort Collins moreparticularly described in the Notice
of Public Hearing" attached hereto and
WHEREAS the owners of said property have petitioned that said
property be included partly in the R-L Low Density Residential District and
partly in the R-H High Density Residential District and
WHEREAS the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study of said zoning
request and has held a hearing and has made a report and recommendation thereof
all in accordance with Section 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended and
WHEREAS the City Council desires to hold a hearing on said zoning
request as required by said Section 19-46
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that February 6 1969 at 1 30 P M or as soon thereafter as the
matter may come on for hearing in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the
City of Fort Collins is hereby set as the time and place for a public hearing
on said zoning request and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
publish a notice of said hearing as provided in Section 19-46 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado 1958 as amended in the form
attached hereto

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Notice is hereby given that on February 6 1969 or as soon thereafter as the matter
may come on for hearing in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Fort
Collins the City Council will hold a public hearing on a petition heretofore filed
requesting that the property comprising the Edora Acres Annexation be placed partly in the
R-L Low Density Residential District and partly in the R-H High Density Residential
District under the zoning ordinances of the City of Fort Collins Colorado
The property comprising said annexation is more particularly described as situate in
the County of Larimer State of Colorado to-wit
A tract of land situated in the N 1/2 of Section 19 Township 7 North Range 68
West of the 6th P M which considering the North line of the NW 1/4 of said
Section 19 as bearing N 89 41 40 E and with all bearings contained herein
relative thereto is contained within the boundary lines which begin at the North
Quarter Corner of said Section 19 and run thence N 88059 40' E and along the
North line of the NE 1/4 of said Section 19 1 321 73 feet to the West right of
way line of the Union Pacific Railroad thence S 00 03 20 E and along said
West right of way line 413 24 feet thence S 74 36`40 W 790 81 feet thence
N 79 16'50 ' W 255 79 feet thence N 86 32 20 W 578 58 feet thence N 55
54'50" W 639 03 feet thence N 00 18'20' W 155 00 feet to the North line of
the NW 1/4 of said Section 19 thence N 89 41 '40 E and along the North line
of the NW 1/4 of said Section 19 799 46 feet to the point of beginning
Petition has been filed requesting that all of said property be placed in the R-L
Low Density Residential District except the following described portion thereof
A tract of land situated in the NE 1/4 of Section 19 Township 7 North Range 68
West of the 6th P M which considering the North line of said NE 1/4 as bearing
N 88 59 40" E and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto is con-
tained within the boundary lines which begin at a point on the North line of said
NE 1/4 which bears N 88 59 40 E 651 67 feet from the North Quarter Corner of
said Section 19 and run thence N 88 59'40" E and along the North line of the
NE 1/4 of said Section 19 670 06 feet to the West right of way line of the Union
Pacific Railroad thence S 00 03'20 E and along said West right of way 413 24
feet thence S 74'36140 W 269 38 feet thence N 09 58 20' W 130 58 feet
thence S 74 36'40 W 210 00 feet thence N 24 00 00" W 125 00 feet thence N
53 31 15 W 167 53 feet thence N 00 00'00' E 186 30 feet to the North line
of the NE 1/4 of said Section 19 and the point of beginning
which property the petition requests be zoned in the R-H High Density Residential
District
