OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS REPEALING CERTAIN
PARTS OF A RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON APRIL 10,
1969
WHEREAS, heretofore on April 10, 1969, the City Council of the
City of Fort Collins duly passed a resolution pertaining to applications for
licenses for the sale of intoxicating liquors within the limits of the City
of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, said resolution provided, among other things, that the
City Council would consider no application for a license to sell intoxicating
liquors within the City Limits prior to July 10, 1969, and
WHEREAS, in Civil Action No 18700 the District Court in and for
the County of Larimer, and State of Colorado, determined and decreed that
the City of Fort Collins did not have the power to postpone the filing of
applications or the setting of the same for hearing
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that the resolution of April 10, 1969, insofar as it conflicts
with the decree of the District Court in Civil Action No 18700, be and
the same hereby is repealed and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council will accept applications
for licenses for the sale of intoxicating liquors and will set the same for
hearing upon receipt of the same by the City Council
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this 5th day of June, A D , 1969
