HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-042-06/12/1969-GIVING PUBLIC NOTICE CONCERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE CITY CODE TO CLASSIF RESOLUTION f— s� OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS GIVING NOTICE CONCERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES 01 THE CITY OF TORT COLLINS, COLORADO, 1958, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, IN ORDER TO CLASSIFY FOR ZONING PURPOSES CERTAIN PROPERTY BEING ANNEXED TO THE CITY Or FORT COLLINS WHEREAS, heretofore- the City Council of the City of Fort Collins initiated annexation procedures for certain property known as the Thunderbird• Estates Twelfth Annexation to the City of Fort Collins more particularly described in the Notice of Public Hearing attached hereto, and WHEREAS, the owners of said property have petitioned that said property be included in the B-G, General Business District and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study of said zoning request and has held a hearing and has made a report and recommendation thereof, all in accordance with Section 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to hold a hearing on said zoning request as required by said Section 19-46 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that July 3, 1969, at 1 30 P M , or as soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Fort Collins, is hereby set as the time and place for a public hearing on said zoning request, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish a notice of said hearing as provided in Section 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended, in the form attached hereto Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this 12th day of June A D 1969 Ma r ATTEST City clerKlz NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Notice is hereby given that on July 3, 1969 , or as soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Fort Collins, the City Council will hold a public hearing on a petition heretofore filed requesting that the property comprising the Thunderbird Estates Twelfth Annexation be placed in a B-G General Business District under the zoning ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado The property comprising said annexation is more particularly described as situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit Two tracts of land situate in the NW 1/4 of Section 25 Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the Sixth P M , which considering the West line of said NW 1/4 as bearing N 00000145 W and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto, are contained within the boundary lines which begin at a point which bears S 00000'45 E 1504 56 feet from the Northwest corner of said Section 25 and run thence East 314 68 feet thence South 1130 22 feet to a point on the South line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 25 thence along said South line S 89°47108 W 314 48 feet to the West 1/4 corner of said Section 25 thence along the West line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 25, N 00000145" W 1131 39 feet to the point of beginning, containing 8 166 acres, more or less, ALSO a tract which begins at a point which bears S 00*00145 ' E 1209 56 feet, and again East 80 00 feet from the Northwest corner of said Section 25 and runs thence East 150 00 feet thence S 00100145 E 110 00 feet thence West 135 00 feet thence along the arc of a 15 foot radius curve to the right a distance of 23 56 feet, the long chord of which bears N 45°00'22" W 21 21 feet thence N 00°00'45 ' W 95 00 feet to the point of beginning, containing 0 331 acres more or less, and being known as Lot 12 of Thunderbird Estates Seventh Subdivision EXCEPT a parcel of land described in Book 1406, Pages 615 and 616 of the Larimer County records Dated at Fort Collins, Colorado, this 12thday of June, A D 1969 City Clerk (Note This notice must be published once at least fifteen (15) days before the date set for hearing
