OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE ACTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE POLICEMEN'S PENSION FUND INCREASING
THE MONTHLY CONTRIBUTION OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AND INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT TO THE POLICEMEN'S PENSION FUND
SO THAT EACH SUCH CONTRIBUTION IS EQUAL TO
5% OF THE SALARIES OF POLICE DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Policemen's Pension Fund
have pursuant to the ordinances of the City of Fort Collins directed an
increase in the payment by the City from the general fund into the Police-
men's Pension Fund so that such payment monthly is equal to five percent
(5%) of the total monthly salaries of the Police Department personnel, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the individual contributions of
individual members of the Police Department will be in a like amount
of five percent (5%) of such individual member's monthly salary, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has requested that the City
Council approve such increase and direct the Director of Finance to
make payments to the Policemen's Pension Fund in accordance therewith
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that the City Council hereby approves and ratifies the
increase in payments ordered by the Board of Trustees so that the
City's contribution from the general fund to the Policemen's Pension
Fund shall be five percent (5%) of the total monthly salaries of the
personnel of the Police Department, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance is hereby
directed to make such payments from the general fund to the Policemen's
Pension Fund in accordance with the request of the Board of Trustees of
the Policemen's Pension Fund
