OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPOINTING A REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE
VINE-LAPORTE-TAFT ANNEXATION ELECTION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, on December 5, 1980, an annexation petition was filed with
the City Clerk for property known as the Vine-LaPorte-Taft Annexation,
and
WHEREAS, on April 9, 1981, a written petition was filed with the City
Clerk requesting an annexation election concerning the Vine-LaPorte-Taft
Annexation, and
WHEREAS, on April 21, 1981, the Council adopted Resolution 81-66
directing that an annexation election, pursuant to Section 31-12-112,
C R S 1973, be held concerning the Vine-LaPorte-Taft Annexation, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 31-12-112(4), C R S 1973, the District
Court, upon petition of the City, shall appoint three commissioners to
conduct the annexation election, and
WHEREAS, Section 31-12-112(4), C R S 1973, provides that one of the
election commissioners be selected by the municipality, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk, Wanda Krajicek, is familiar with municipal
election procedures which govern the annexation election
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that the City Clerk, Wanda Krajicek, is hereby appointed as the
City's representative to the Vine-LaPorte-Taft Annexation Election Commis-
sion, subject to appointment by the District Court
Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Fort Collins at a
regular meeting held this 18th day of August , 1981
