OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
RENEWING A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR WATER AND
SEWER LINES WITH THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD
WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation (called "Li-
censor") has tendered to the City of Fort Collins (called "Licensee") an
Addendum to Agreement supplementing and amending and extending to and
including October 27, 1986 the term of that certain Agreement made and
entered into November 23, 1976 by and between Licensor and Licensee,
identified in the records of Licensor as UIC Law Department Document No
1-2336, Audit No 21333, covering the continued maintenance and operation
of a water pipeline and sanitary sewer pipeline, with manholes, situated in
the City of Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado Said
s Addendum to Agreement is identified as UIC Law Department Document No
1-2336-A, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has said proposed
Addendum to Agreement before it and has given it careful review and con-
sideration, and
WHEREAS, it is considered that the best interests of said City of Fort
Collins will be served by the acceptance of said Addendum to Agreement
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS
Section 1 That the terms of the Addendum to Agreement submitted
by Union Pacific Land Resources Corporaton as aforesaid be, and the same
are hereby accepted in behalf of said City, and
Section 2 That the Mayor of said City is hereby authorized, em-
powered and directed to execute said Addendum to Agreement on behalf of
said City, and that the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized and
directed to attest said Addendum to Agreement and to attach to each Dupli-
cate Original of said Addendum to Agreement a certified copy of this
Resolution
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
1st day of September, A D 1981
