OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ADOPTING THE STORM DRAINAGE MAP
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has enacted Chapter
93 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins for the purpose of establishing
storm drainage lines and other facilities for the drainage and control of
flood and surface waters within the City in order that the health, pro-
perty, safety and welfare of the City and its inhabitants may be safe-
guarded and protected, and
WHEREAS, Section 93-6 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins provides
that after receiving the report and recommendation of the Storm Drainage
Board , the City Council shall officially adopt by resolution a storm
drainage map delineating the boundaries of the storm drainage basins in the
City and in areas which may hereafter be annexed to the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received the report and recommendation
of the Storm Drainage Board that the attached Storm Drainage Map be a-
dopted, and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the adoption of said Storm
Drainage Map is in the best interest of the City of Fort Collins
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the attached Storm Drainage Map, delineating the boundaries of
the storm drainage basins in the City and in areas which may hereafter be
annexed to the City, be adopted as the official Storm Drainage Map of the
City of Fort Collins Said map shall serve as the official designation of
the respective drainage basins of the City, but may be revised from time to
time by the City Council to conform with existing conditions
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 15th day of September- 981
