OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS ADOPTING THE 1979 PAY PLAN
WHEREAS, Council has, in the past, approved a position classification
and compensation plan for municipal employees of the City of Fort Collins,
and
WHEREAS, the Administration has reviewed the City's compensation plan
and has recommended that a new plan be approved which is based upon the
principles of employee performance, prevailing wages and internal align-
ment, and
WHEREAS, it is the goal of the City Council to see that the Target
Plan will be implemented by January 1, 1980
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the interim employee compensation plan submitted to the City
Council by the City Manager, a copy of which is attached hereto, be, and
the same hereby is, approved effective January 8, 1979, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council upon the recommendation
of the City Manager will, during 1979, commit the excess fund balance
• towards the further implementation of the new Target Pay Plan in 1979
