OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
RENAMING CERTAIN STREETS IN THE REGISTRY RIDGE
FIRST AND RICHARDS LAKE FIRST FILING
WHEREAS,the City Council has been requested to rename two streets in the Registry Ridge
First Filing and Richards Lake First Filing in order to correct some misspellings that occurred in the
initial naming of these streets; and
WHEREAS, the two misspelled words are "Truxon", which should have been spelled
"Truxtun", and "Beamreach", which should have been spelled "Beam Reach"; and
WHEREAS,the rights of the residents of the City will in no way be prejudiced or injured by
renaming these streets; and
WHEREAS, any cost to be incurred in the making of the new signs for the streets will be
paid by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the street located in Registry Ridge First Filing presently named"Truxon" is hereby
changed to "Truxtun,", and that the street in Richards Lake First Filing presently named
"Beamreach" is hereby changed to "Beam Reach".
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins this 21 st
day of July, A.D. 2009.
