OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
CHANGING THE NAME OF "NEW" MASON STREET
IN THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS , a "new" Mason Street connecting Horsetooth and
Drake Roads has been completed in the City of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS , there currently exists a road designated as Mason
Street, one block to the east of the newly constructed Mason
Street, and
WHEREAS , the e\istence of two streets with the same name
causes problems for emergency vehicles and services
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS that the name of the certain street heretofore
known as Mason Street, more specifically referred to as "New" Mason
Street, connecting Drake and Horsetooth Roads in the City of Fort
Collins is hereby changed to McClelland Drive
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of
the City of Fort Collins held this 21stday of August 1979
