OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOPT COLLINS
ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF ENERGLNCY MANAGEMENT
AND APPOINTING DENNIS L BRUNS AS DIRECTOR (HEREOF
WHEREAS, the United States Government has duly established an Office
of Federal Emergency Management Administration, and
WHEREAS, said Office has requested the City of Fort Collins to co-
ordinate its emergency service efforts with those of State and Federal
efforts, and
WHEREAS, such coordination advances the efforts of the City to provide
emergency services to its residents and insures that Federal and State
assistance shall be available as needed
NOW, THFREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 That there is hereby created within the City of Fort
Collins an Office of Emergency Management under the control and direction
of the City Manager That said office shall have the responsibility for
coordinating City emergency efforts in the event of a disaster, either
natural or man-made
Section 2 That Dennis L Bruns is hereby designated as Director
of Emergency Management of the City of fort Collins, to serve at the
pleasure ane convenience of the City Manager
