OF THE COUNCIL .OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ACCEPTING A
RECOMMENDATION FROM THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS REGARDING
THE INITIATION .OF A SPECIAL .IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, 7 -
STATING THE NEED FOR, THE NATURE OF, AND THE LOCATION
OF THE IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE, DESCRIBING THE. AREA TO
BE ASSESSED FOR THE SAME, AND DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER
TO PREPARE AND ;PRESENT TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE NECESSARY
INFORMATION FOR THE FORMATION OF SAID DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering Services has
recommended to the City Council that'. a special improvement
district be created for the purpose of installing certain
public improvements in the City and
WHEREAS, the 'City Council has received such recommenda-
tion and desires to continue with the formation of such
special improvement district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS_;
Section 1. That the recommendation of the Director of
Engineering Services is hereby received and accepted.
Section 2. That the improvement to be constructed is a -
sanitary sewer main and that such improvement is needed in
order to provide sanitary sewer service to the properties, in
the district.
Section 3. The location of the improvements to be made
is as follows : In the right of way of West Mulberry Street
from Taft Hill Road to Crestmore Place. The property to be
benefited from the improvement and to be assessed for the;
cost of the same is described as follows:
Considering the North line of Section 15, T7N, R69W, of the 6th P.M. ; Larimer
County, Colorado, as bearing due East, and with all bearings contained herein
relative thereto. Commencing at the northwest corner of said Section 15;
thence East 30.00 feet; thence South 30.00 feet to the true point of',beginning.
Thence East 837.81 feet;, thence South 190 feet; thence West 837.81 feet; thence
North 190 feet to the point of beginning, containing 159,183.9 square feet.

Section 4. The City Engineer is hereby directed to
prepare and present to the Council the following:
A. Preliminary plans and specifications of the improve-:
ments proposed.
B. . An estimate' of the total .cost of such improvements,
including the cost of constructing the same, engineering,
legal and advertising costs, interest during construction
and until assessments are made by ordinance against .the
properties benefited, and other incidental costs:
C. A map of the district to be assessed for the cost.

Section .5. Said improvement district shall be known: as
Sanitary Sewer Improvement District No. 59.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council held this 15th day of March, 1977.
