CONCLRNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCI AMINDING CHAPTER 19 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCLS OF THI; CIFY 01 FORI COLLINS,
COLORADO, 1958, AS AMENDED, M41ONLY kNOWN A5 THE ZONING
ORDINANCE, IN ORDLR TO CLASSIFY FOR ZONING PURPOSLS
CERTAIN PROPERTY BEING ANNEXED TO TILL MY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
initiated annexation procedures for certain property known as the Sixteenth
South Shields Street Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, more
particularly described in the "Notice of Public Heaiing" attached hereto and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study of said
annexation and has held a hearing and made a report and recommendation con-
cerning the zoring for said property, all in accordance with Section 19-46
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as
amended, and
WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Board has recommended that said
property be zoned in the R-L, Low Density Residential District under
the Zoning Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to hold a hearing in order to
determine how said property shall be zoned, all as required by said
Section 19-46
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that September 4, 1969,r at 1 30 P M , or as soon thereafter
as the matter may come on for hearing in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall of the City of Fort Collins is hereby set as the time and place for a
public hearing in order to consider the zoning for said property and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed
to publish a notice of said hearing as provided in Section 19-46 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended,
in the form attached hereto
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this 14th day of August, A D 1969

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Notice is hereby given that on September 4, 1969 , at 1 30 P M , or as soon
thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing, in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall of the City of Fort Collins, the City Council will hold a public hearing in order
to determine the zoning for the property comprising the Sixteenth South Shields Street
Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, said annexation being more particularly
described as follows
Commencing at the East Quarter Corner of Section 15, Township 7 North, Range
69 West of the 6th P M , thence South along the East line of Section 15
677 33 feet, thence West 280 00 feet to a point on the boundary of the First
Western Heights Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado which is
the true point of beginning thence South along said Annexation 150 58 feet
more or less thence West along said Annexation 760 feet, more or less to
the Northeast corner of the Second Western Heights Annexation, thence West
along said Annexation 280 feet, more or less, to the Northwest corner of said
Annexation, saidpoint also being a point on the Sixth Fairview Annexation
thence West along said Annexation 8 59 feet, thence N 00008110/1 W along
said Annexation 176 21 feet, more or less to the Southwest corner of the
Ninth South Shields Street Annexation thence S 89032130/1 E along said
Annexation 1048 69 feet more or less, thence South along said Annexation
17 24 feet more or less, to the true point of beginning,
The proposed zoning for said property is R-L Low Density Residential
District under the zoning ordinance of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado
