OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS GIVING NOTICE
CONCERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY. OF FORT COLLINS,
COLORADO, 1958, AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING
ORDINANCE, IN ORDER TO CLASSIFY FOR ZONING PURPOSES
CERTAIN PROPERTY BEING ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
initiated annexation procedures for certain property known as the Seven-
teenth South Shields Street Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, more
particularly described in the "Notice of Public Hearing" attached hereto;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study of said
annexation and has held a hearing and made a report and recommendation
concerning the zoning for said property, all in accordance with Section
19-46. of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado,
1958, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has recommended that said
property be zoned in the B-L, Limited Business District, under the Zoning
Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to hold a hearing in order
to determine how said property shall be zoned, all as required by said
Section 19-46.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that October 2, 1969, at 1 :30 P. M. , or as soon thereafter
as the matter may come on for hearing, .in the Council Chambers in the
City Hall of the City of Fort Collins is hereby set as the time and place
for a public hearing in order to consider the zoning for said property; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed
to publish a notice of said hearing as provided in Section 19-46 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended,
in the form attached hereto.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this llth day of September, A. D. 1969.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that on October 2, 1969, at 1:30 P.M. , or as soon thereafter
as the matter may come on for hearing, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the
City of Fort Collins, the City Council will hold a public hearing in order to determine
the zoning for the property comprising the Seventeenth South Shields. Street Annexation
to the City of Fort Collins, said annexation being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of the NE', of Section 15, Township 7 North,
Range 69 West of the 6th P . M., thence North along the East line of said NE;
253.87 feet; thence West along the North line of the Fifth South Shields
Street Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 230.00 feet to the
true point_ of..beginning; thence West along.said Annexation 33.00 feet to a
point on the Sixth South Shields Street Annexation; thence West along said
Annexation 67.00 feet; thence North along said Annexation 105 .83 feet to a
point on the Twelfth South Shields Street Annexation; thence East along said
Annexation 100.00 feet to the Northwest corner of the Fifteenth South Shields
Street Annexation; thence South along said Annexation 105 .83 feet to the point
of beginning.
The proposed zoning for said property is B-L, Limited Business District, under the
zoning ordinance of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado.
