OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF AN EASEMENT TOGETHER WITH ONE 115kv GANG-
OPERATED LINE SECTIONALIZING SWITCH AND STRUCTURE TO THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
WHEREAS, Supplement No 1 to Contract No 14-06-700-6155 between the
United States of America and the City of Fort Collins in connection with the
furnishing of electric service to the City provides for the acquiring of an
easement and the erection thereon of one 115-kilovolt gang-operated line
sectionalizing switch and structure which are by said contract to become the
property of the United States, and
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has heretofore acquired said
easement and has completed the installation of said line sectionalizing switch
and has erected the necessary structure on said easement, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of said Supplement No 1 to said
Contract, title to said property should now be vested in the United States of
America, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared the necessary conveyance to
transfer said property to the United States, which said conveyance has been
approved by the City Manager
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the conveyance of the property aforesaid by the City of Fort
Collins to the United States of America be and the same is hereby approved
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they
hereby are authorized and directed to execute said conveyance
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this llth day of January, A D 1968
