OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS GIVING NOTICE
CONCERNING A PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OFLFORT COLLINS, COLORADO,
19581 AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE,
IN ORDER TO CLASSIFY FOR ZONING PURPOSES CERTAIN PROPERTY
BEING ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS fi
WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
initiated annexation procedures for certain property known as the Second Pat
Griffin Annexation to the City of Fort Collins more particularly described in
the "Notice of Public Hearing" attached hereto, and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have petitioned that said
property be included partly in the B-L, Limited Business District, and partly
in the C, Commercial District, under the zoning ordinance of the City of Fort
Collins, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board has made a study of said
zoning request and has held a hearing and has made a report and recommendation
thereof, all in accordance with Section 19-46 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins, Colorado, 1958, as amended, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to hold a hearing on said zoning
request as required by said Section 19-46
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that March 7, 1968, at 1 30 P M , or as soon thereafter as the matter
may come on for hearing, in the Council Chambers in the City Hull of the City
of Fort Collins, is hereby set as the time and place for a public hearing on
said zoning request, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
publish a notice of said hearing as provided in Section 19-46 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Fort Collins, 1958, as amended, in the form attached
hereto

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Notice is hereby given that on March 7 1968 at 1 30 P M or as
soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing in the Council Chamber-s
in the City Hall of the City of Fort Collins the City Council will hold a
public hearing on a petition heretofore filed requesting that the property
comprising the Second Pat Griffin Annexation be placed in the following zoning
districts under the zoning ordinance of the City of Fort Collins
The North 130 feet of said Annexation
in the B L Limited Business District
and the balance of said Annexation
in the C Commercial District
The property comprising said Annexation is more particularly described
as situate in the County of Larimer State of Colorado to wit
Considering the North line of the Northeast Quarter (NE4)
of Section 23 Township 7 North Range 69 West of the 6h
P M as bearing due East and West and with all bearings
herein relative thereto beginning at a point which bears
East 1779 35 feet from the North one quarter corner of said
Section 23 thence S 00 20 E 708 30 feet to the center
of Spring Creek thence N 61 55 E 48 20 feet along the
center Line of said Spring Creek thence S 64 31 E 200 80
feet along the center line of Spring Creek thence S 13 07
E 97 28 feet to the intersection of the center line of
Spring Creek and the West line of the right of way of the
Colorado and Southern Railroad said point being 50 00 feet
Westerly from the center line of the main track of said
railroad thence N 01 03 E 376 90 feet along the West
line of the right of way of said railroad thence N 00
2230 W 489 30 feet along the West line of the right of
way of said railroad to the North line of the NE4 of said
Section thence West 253 10 feet to the point of beginning
