OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROVING THE NORTH COLLEGE INFRASTRUCTURE FUNDING PLAN
WHEREAS, in July 2008, the Fort Collins Urban Renewal Authority oard of
Commissioners (the `URA Board of Commissioners") and the North College Citi n Advisory
Group met to discuss the possible establishment of a North College Infrastructure F ding Plan(the
"Plan"); and
WHEREAS,the URA Board directed the staff to prepare the Plan,a ft of which Plan was
presented to the URA Board of Commissioners in July, 2009; and
WHEREAS,the general purpose of the Plan is to place all of t orth College Avenue area
key infrastructure needs into an overall framework to guide the wo and decisions to be made by
the URA Board of Commissioners, the City and others who hav an interest in the North College
Avenue area infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, after substantial public outreach thro gh the meetings of the North College
Citizen Advisory Group,staff has prepared and presented o the City Council the proposed Plan;and
WHEREAS, the Plan has been recommen d for approval by the Planning and Zoning
Board, the North College Citizen Advisory Gro the Transportation Board, and the North Fort
Collins Business Association; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has etermined that the approval of the Plan is in the best
interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the North Colle Infrastructure Funding Plan, dated January 20, 2010, attached
hereto and incorporated herei y this reference as Exhibit "A", is hereby approved.
Passed and adopt at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins this 2nd
day of February, A.D. 10.
