OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
REQUESTING THAT THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
LARIMER COUNTY APPOINT A REPRESENTATIVE TO
ATTEND MEETINGS OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING
BOARD OF .THE CITY IN ORDER TO PROVIDE
BETTER COORDINATION. BETWEEN THE COUNTY AND
THE CITY IN MATTERS AFFECTING BOTH BODIES
WHEREAS, in the past concerns have been expressed to the City
Council that zoning actions of. the City need to be better coordinated
with zoning actions of the County; and
WHEREAS, it has been suggested that better coordination could
be achieved if a representative from the County attend the meetings of
the City Planning and Zoning Board; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the City Council, the attendance of
a. representative from the County at meetings of the City Planning and Zoning
Board would further the coordination of the City and .County zoning actions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. The City of Fort Collins hereby requests that the
Board of County Commissioners of Larimer County designate a representative
to attend meetings of the City of Fort Collins Planning and Zoning Board.
Section 2. Such designated representative shall sit with the
City Planning and Zoning Board at all meetings and shall be considered
an ex officio non voting member of such Board.
