OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS INITIATING
ANNE:aTION PROCEEDINGS FOR THE STEIVART ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, heretofore a written petition together with. four prints
of an annexation map was filed with the City Clerk requesting the annexa-
tion of certain property more particularly described as situate in the
County of. Larimer, State of Colorado, to-wit:
Being a part of the Southeast 4 of Section 26, and the Northeast

which considering the North line of the Northeast 4 of said

I1HER1105 the City Council desires to initiate annexation proceedings
in accordance with law.
NOiV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby finds and determines
that the annexation petition and accompanying map are in substantial compliance
with Section 139-21-6, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended.
Section 2. That August 16, 1973* at the hour of 6 :30 P.M., or
as soon thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing, in the Council
Chambers of the City of Fort Collins is hereby set as the date, time and
place where the City Council will hold a hearing to determine if the proposed
annexation complies with the provisions of Sections 139-21-3 and 4, Colorado
Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended, or such parts thereof as may be required.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held
this Sth day of July A.D. , 1973.

NOTICE
TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of Fort Collins
has adopted a resolution initiating annexation proceedings for the Stewart
Annexation, said annexation being more particularly described in said resolution,
a copy of which precedes this notice.
THAT on August 16, 1973, at the hour of 6:30 P.M. , or as soon
thereafter as the matter may come on for hearing, before the City Council
in the Council Chambers of the% City Hall of the City of Fort Collins at
300 LaPorte Avenue, Fort Collins, Colorado, the City Council will hold
a hearing upon the annexation petition for the purpose of determining and
finding whether the property proposed to be annexed meets the applicable
requirements of Colorado law and is considered eligible for annexation.
At such hearing, any person living within the area proposed to be annexed,
and any landowner of lands therein, and any resident of the City of Fort
Collins, and all other interested persons, may appear and present such
evidence as they may desire.

four (4) weeks, the first publication at least thirty (30) days prior to
the date set for hearing.)
