OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
CONFIRMING AND APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE
PERSONNEL RULES MADE BY THE CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reported to the City Council
that he has adopted an amendment to the Personnel Rules for the Municipal
Service of the City of Fort Collins relating to the membership of the
Personnel Board and changing the number of members to five, which
amendment has been submitted to the Council; and
WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Council such amendment is
proper and should be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED -BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT COLLINS that said amendment be, and the same hereby is, confirmed
and approved.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
held this 19th day of July, A.D. 1973. ,

AMENDMENT OF PERSONNEL RULES
Section 2 of Rule II of the Personnel Rules for the Municipal
Service of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, is hereby amended by
changing the portion thereof relative to "Structure" to read as follows :
"Structure: The Personnel Board shall consist of
five (S) members who shall be appointed by the City
Council . Each member of the Personnel Board shall
be a resident of the City of Fort Collins and shall
serve for a term of four (4) years or until his
successor is appointed. All members shall be subject
to removal by the City Council. Appointments to such
Board shall be such as to achieve overlapping terms
on the Board. No officer or employee of the City
shall be eligible for appointment to serve as a
member of the Personnel Board. Vacancies on the
Personnel Board shall be filled in the same manner
as the original appointment for the remainder of
the unexpired term."
