Oi' THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
COLORADO, AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO JOIN WITH
OTHER GOVERNMENTAL UNITS IN MAKING APPLICATION
TO THE STATE OF COLORADO, DIVISION OF CRIMINAL
JUSTICE, FOR�LAW ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANCE AND
ADMINISTRATION FUNDS TO ASSIST IN THE ESTABLISH-
MENT OF A REGIONAL AUTOMATED CRIME INFORMATION
SYSTEM
WHEREAS, it has been proposed the cities of Fort Collins,
Loveland and Greeley, and the counties of Weld and Larlmer,
State of Colorado, enter into an intergovernmental agreement
providing for the establishment of a regional automated crime
information system, and
WHEREAS, it appears Federal assistance under the auspices
of the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration and the
Division of Criminal Justice, State of Colorado, is available
to assist in the establishment of such a crime information
center
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FORT COLLINS-
1. That the City of Fort Collins be, and it hereby is,
authorized and directed to loin with the cities of Greeley and
Loveland, Colorado, and the counties of Weld and Larimer,
Colorado, in making application through the Division of Criminal
Justice, State of Colorado, and the Law Enforcement Assistance
Administration for financial assistance in the establishment
of a regional automated crime information system
2. The City of Fort Collins' participation in the above-
mentioned grant application is expressly conditioned upon similar
application being made by the cities of Greeley and Loveland,
Colorado, and Larimer and Weld counties, Colorado, and further
that such governmental entities shall enter into a satisfactory
intergovernmental agreement concerning the establishment and
operation of the regional automated crime information system.
Passed and adopted at a regular meetin the City Council
held this 20th day of June .D 78.
