OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE GOVERNING BOARD
OF THE FORT COLLINS/POUDRE VALLEY FIRE AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, by Resolution No 80-150, the Council of the City of Fort
Collins authorized the City Manager to enter into an intergovermental
agreement with the Poudre Valley Fire Protection District for the esta-
blishment of the Fort Collins/Poudre Valley Fire Authority, and
WHEREAS, said intergovernmental agreement provided for the establish-
ment of a governing board to administer said Authority, said Board being
comprised of two City appointed members and one alternating member, and
WHEREAS, the City Council appointed Councilmembers Charles Bowling and
Burton Kross as the City's representatives to said Board, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy now exists on the governing board because of the
expiration of the Council term of Charles Bowling, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appoint a new member to the governing
board of the Authority to fill said vacancy
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That the City Manager be, and hereby is, appointed as a
regular member to the governing board of the Fort Collins/Poudre Valley
Fire Authority with term to expire as indicated

Section 2 That the following named person be, and is hereby ap-
pointed as an alternating member to the governing board of the Fort Col-
lins/Poudre Valley Fire Authority with term to expire as indicated
NAME TERM EXPIRES
Bill Elliott December 31, 1981
Passed and adopted at an adjourned meeting of the Council of the City
of Fort Collins held this 14th day of ADril 1981
