OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ELIMINATING AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIPS TO THE
LIBRARY BOARD
WHEREAS, by Resolution 80-77, the Council of the City of Fort Collins
provided for the appointment of two affiliate members to the Library Board
to serve for a period of one year, and
WHEREAS, the Council passed said Resolution intending to submit a
Charter Amendment to the voters of the City of Fort Collins to provide for
expanding the Library Board from five to seven members, and
WHEREAS, said Charter Amendment failed to receive a majority of votes
at the General Municipal Election in April , 1981, and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No 83 , the Council provided for the appoint-
ment of two alternate members to the Library Board, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, as follows
Section 1 That effective July 1, 1981, the two affiliate member-
ships to the Library Board are hereby terminated
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 2nd day of June A D 1981
