OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CENTENNIAL ENGINEERING, INC
WHEREAS, in 1980, the City embarked upon a street repair and rehabili-
tation program, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary, in
furtherance of the best interests of the citizens of the City, that the
said Street Rehabilitation Program be continued into 1982 for the purpose
of asphalt patching and overlay of certain collector and arterial streets
within the City, and
WHEREAS, the Council has further determined that it is necessary and
desirable to provide professional assistance to the City for the purpose of
contract administration and construction surveillance work associated with
said Street Rehabilitation Program, and
WHEREAS, Centennial Engineering, Inc has submitted a proposal to
perform said assistance for a maximum fee of $25,000, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
the execution of a professional services agreement with Centennial Engi-
neering, Inc to perform the aforesaid services is in the best interests of
the citizens of the City
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a professional services agreement on behalf of the City with Centen-
nial Engineering, Inc for the provision of assistance to the City for the
purpose of contract administration, construction surveillance and inspec-
tion of the progress of the work to insure compliance with the plans and
specifications as established for the 1982 Street Rehabilitation Program
with compensation to Centennial Engineering, Inc for said services not to
exceed $25,000 and with completion of the work not later than October 31 ,
1982
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City
of Fort Collins held this 15th day of June, 1982
