OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
DELETING THE LIBRARY BORROWERS' FEE FOR
NON-CITY RESIDENTS
WHEREAS, on October 5, 1982, the City Council established and adopted
rates for a library fee for non-city residents by Resolution 82-138, and
WHEREAS, after reviewing the final recommendations of the Ad Hoc
Committee on Library Funding, the Library Board has recommended that the
Board of the County Commissioners and the Fort Collins City Councilmembers
work out an equitable agreement on the library funding so that free bor-
rowing privileges at the Fort Collins Public Library may be restored to
out-of-city residents on January 1, 1984, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of
Fort Collins to follow the recommendation of the Library Board
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Resolution 82-138, adopted on October 5, 1982, establishing a
non-resident library borrowers' fee, is repealed, effective January 1,
1984
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
4th day of October, A D 1983
