HomeMy WebLinkAbout1983-168-10/04/1983-ESTABLISHING AND REVISING FEES TO BE CHARGED AT MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSES RESOLUTION 83- 168 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS ESTABLISHING AND REVISING FEES TO BE CHARGED AT MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSES BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that the following fees and charges schedule shall be in effect for all municipally owned and operated golf courses, effective January 1 , 1984 CITY OF FORT COLLINS PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT GOLF DIVISION 1984 FEES AND CHARGES SCHEDULE DAILY GREEN FEES (Both Courses) 9-holes - Weekdays, weekends and holidays $5 25 18-holes - Weekdays, weekends and holidays $8 50 Non-Resident Fee A fee of $1 00 for each 9-holes of golf for those users not having a Fort Collins address is added to daily Green Fees, with 504 of each non-resident fee dollar charged to be placed into the Surcharge Reserve Account ANNUAL PASSES (One pass/both courses) Single Adult $265 00 Junior (under age 18) $135 00 Student (under age 24) $200 00 Senior Citizen (age 62 and over) $200 00 Family Rates 1st Adult/Husband $265 00 2nd Adult/Wife $200 00 1st Child (under age 18) $135 00 2nd Child or more (under age 18) S 65 00 Maximum Family Charge T665 0 NOTES 1 ) All Annual Passes to be paid by March 1st of each year, with the 1984 Annual Pass good until March 1 , 1985 2 ) 10% of each Annual Pass rate paid will be placed into the Surcharge Reserve Account 3 ) "Half-season" Annual Passes shall be available for sale, to be effective on August 15th , at 1 /2 the cost of the regular annual rate 4 ) Annual Passes are limited to those users having a Fort Collins address only, except those non-residents continuing to hold a pass whit l-was originally purchased pric—r-t-F-Rai—rc-h 4, 1981 , when this policy was established by City Council In the event that the non-resident allows their pass to lapse, all rights of renewal of said non-residents shall be deemed waived 5 ) Administrative Golf staff is hereby authorized to reduced the cost of any Annual Pass up to 50%, for special circumstances, such as proven low income, medical circumstances, etc , if such action is warranted SURCHARGE RESERVE ACCOUNT A Surcharge Fee, which was originally adopted by City Council in 1979, has been established on all Annual Passes and Daily Green Fee Charges, and is already included within the various rate structures A Green Fee charge of 50E for 9-holes and 759 for 18-holes, as well as 500 of each non-resident green fee dollar, and 10% of each Annual Pass rate, is applied to the Special Surcharge Reserve Account Surcharge Reserve Account Funds can be used for any golf purpose, as appropriated and approved by City Council An amount equal to at least 25% of the Annual Operating Budget should remain in the account as a reserve, if possible, and the primary utilization of Surcharge account funds should be for Capital Outlay purchases and equipment replacement purposes only GOLF CART FEES City-Owned Golf Carts 9-holes - - - - - - - - - - - - S 800 18-holes - - - - - - - - - - - - g 14 00 9-holes (Senior Citizen)- - - - $ 5 00 18-holes (Senior Citizen)- - - - S10 00 NOTES 1 ) Senior Citizens, age 62 and over, receive this special dis- count rate during non-peak hours only, as posted 2 ) Administrative Golf staff can reduce fees up to 50% for appropriate proven special circumstances, such as physical/ medical handicap or limitation, etc -2- Privately-owned Golf Carts Used, not stored (both courses) $140 00 annually or $ 7 00 daily STORAGE FEES Lockers - City Park Nine - - - - $15 00 Lockers - Collindale - - - - - - $20 00 Clubs - City Park Nine - - - - - $10 00 Clubs - Collindale - - - - - - - $15 00 Private golf cart storage at City Park Nine shall be phased-out, and the City will no longer store these private golf carts after January 1 , 1984 CLUBHOUSE RENTALS Standard Clubhouse Rental Fee - - - - - $30 00 Chairs only - - - - - - - - - - - - - - $10 00 Tables only - - - - - - - - - - - - - - $10 00 Tables and chairs - - - - - - - - - - - $15 00 A $10 00 service deposit fee will be required for all those using the City Park Nine kitchen, and will not be returned, if the kitchen is not thoroughly cleaned All Fees and Charges to take effect January 1 , 1984, and those people purchasing these 1984 services during this year shall pay the 1984 rates Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fort Collins held this 4th day of October 1983 C1� ay ATTEST City Clerk -3-
