OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City is the owner of Lot 1, Alvin E Miller Foothills
Subdivision, First Filing (located at the southeast corner of Ponderosa and
W Elizabeth streets) , and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that such property is not used nor
intended to be used for municipal purposes, nor secured for the purpose of
being used for municipal purposes, and that it is for the best interest of
the City of Fort Collins that the same be sold, and
WHEREAS, John L Strachan has presented an offer to the City for the
purchase of said property and the Council has determined that said property
should be sold to John L Strachan for the sum of $10,000
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Lot 1, Alvin E Miller Foothills Subdivision, First Filing, be
conveyed by the City to John L Strachan pursuant to that agreement of sale
and purchase dated the 1st day of November, 1983, for the purchase price
of $10,000 and that the Mayor and City Clerk shall be authorized to execute
such deeds as may be necessary to accomplish said conveyance
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of
Fort Collins held this 1st day of November, A D 1983
