OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF A TRANSMISSION
LINE EASEMENT TO PLATTE RIVER POWER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, Platte River Power Authority, a political subdivision of the
State of Colorado, owned in part, by the City of Fort Collins, has identi-
fied the need to construct the "Timberline/Poudre" transmission line and
has selected a route therefor and held public hearings concerning said
route, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
said Timberline/Poudre transmission line is a necessary facility for the
provision of electric power to the citizens of the City of Fort Collins and
that it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Fort
Collins that an easement be granted to Platte River Power Authority for the
purpose of the installation of a portion of said line
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to grant, on behalf
of the City of Fart Collins, an easement to Platte River Power Authority
for the construction, operation and maintenance of a portion of the Timber-
line/Poudre transmission line upon the terms and conditions as are set
forth in the easement document
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held this
